Spiced Holiday Jammies (eggless)

Here we have a nutty, just sweet enough brown butter cookie dough which also happens to be wholegrain and refined sugar free. We took inspiration from fig newton and wrapped the dough around a house made spiced jam redolent with plump mixed dried & fresh fruit, orange peel and spices that transport you to another place.
It's a lovely little cookie that goes very well with both tea and coffee.
