Shippable
In a slight departure from our Classic Stollen, here we use Belgian chocolate chunks, toasted hazelnuts and of course, candied citrus to perfume the dough. The marzipan rope running through the bread also has a hint of hazelnut through it. This year we have also added a Hazelnut cream that is stuffed inside the bread while shaping, making it richer and creamier.
The dough goes through an overnight fermentation for better flavor and from mixing, resting, shaping & baking, this is truly a labour of love.
Chocolatey, citrusy and nutty, this bread lends an instant festive vibe.
P.S: This year we have made the loaf smaller (300-350 g), allowing you to order just for 1-2 people as well as getting two different flavours at one time without having too much around (as if that's a thing!).
It stays good for a while but keep it refrigerated to extend shelf life. Best enjoyed at room temperature or slightly warm.
