Belgian Chocolate & Almond Gooey Brownie

I rarely eat brownies - even the ones we have on the menu are fairly grown-up versions of them, being the right amount of fudgy and chocolatey, but not super decadent.
This is our attempt (with a gentle nudge from Pagdandi Cafe) to bring you a brownie which is outrageously gooey, chocolatey, fudgy and melt-in-the-mouth decadent, without being tooth-achingly sweet. You will find pockets of jaggery caramel and toasted almonds too, giving it a certain toastiness which perfectly offsets the deep chocolate flavor.
We tried it fresh off the oven, still warm & melting. We also had it cold from the fridge, set almost like a fudge. Both are equally delicious, depending on what mood you are in or what you are pairing the brownie with (slightly warm with ice cream or cold from the fridge with a glass of milk or cold brew).
