As the summer starts rolling in, we crave cold yogurt or milk with granola and fruits as a quick and nourishing breakfast.
This time around, we wanted something seemingly indulgent yet made with wholesome ingredients. We went with chocolate. The granola is packed with almonds, hazelnut, pumpkin, chia seeds and a touch of olive oil. Sweetened with housemade applesauce and honey, this has a double dose of chocolate with Belgian cocoa powder and Chocolate chips added in. We fold through cranberries in the end for pops of sweetness and tartness.
We have been eating this for breakfast with almost-gone Panchgani strawberries but it'll pair wonderfully with mango, banana & pear too. Try it!
